What this is

One room for every knockout match.

The tournament is past the Round of 32 — sudden death, every goal decisive. Instead of bouncing between a scores app, a group chat, and three social feeds, SoccerWorld26 puts the whole matchday on one screen. Pick a fixture and the scoreboard, the fan chat, the win-probability bar, and the social wall all follow it. Scores refresh on their own; nothing needs a reload.

The Fan Shorts wall is deliberately about the trip, not just the football: fan fests, stadium walk-ups, what a matchday actually feels like in Dallas, Philadelphia, or Mexico City. Fans can also post their own clips — YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, or X — onto the wall, tagged to a match.

Where the data comes from

Real feeds, honestly labelled.

Fixtures, live scores, and standings come from a licensed sports-data provider and update within seconds of the broadcast. Win/draw/win percentages are implied prices from Kalshi's public World Cup markets — crowd-priced probabilities, not our predictions. When a feed is unavailable we say so and degrade gracefully; we never fabricate a number.

Match chat, emoji reactions, and the fans-in-the-room counter run on Firebase. Sign-in is optional and only needed to post; reading is open to everyone.

Who runs it

Fans, not FIFA.

SoccerWorld26 is an unofficial, independent project and is not affiliated with FIFA, the tournament organisers, or any team. We don't stream matches — for broadcasts, use your local rights holder. What we build is the room around the match: the scores, the chat, and the crowd.
